We at The Pavilion at Mixon Farms have heard many times from our couples how much goes into finding the right décor for their special day. We love that our venue is a blank slate; that can be transformed with a little or a lot of décor. It’s a naturally gorgeous area, however, we recognize adding your own touch to it is very important in making your theme come to fruition. We have also heard how much easier it would be to have everything on site and be able to rent it. We’ve heard you loud and clear and would like to introduce our couples to the NEW Mixon Rental Catalog!
Let’s start with FAVORS!
Tradition is a HUGE part of Mixon’s and we love to help our couples bring the Mixon traditions into their wedding day. For example, our very own Mixon Orange Blossom honey jars make a SWEET treat for your guests and are the bee’s knees! These little jars are filled with gorgeous gold honey and can have a labeled placed on them or a “thank you” card attached very easily! Another favor that is only available only at Mixon’s is our homemade fudge! Flavors such as vanilla, chocolate, key lime and caramel, to name a few, can be wrapped individually or even ordered in a trio sampler with a bow for your guests to enjoy. In addition to those we also have our fabulous homemade jams & jellies that make great additions to welcome baskets for out of town guests! Last but not least, serving up our very own Mixon Orange Swirl ice cream (made from our own orange juice) is fantastic way to really bring home the southern charm!
In addition to favors, having furniture décor in our catalog has been a huge hit and it’s expanding! One fan favorite is the Whiskey barrel bar that can also be used as a dessert bar. The bar area can be placed on the lawn during cocktail hour to serve our Mixon Select Wine from. The bar top monogrammed with the Mixon’s name truly brings in the southern charm of the orange grove. Recently we added the whiskey barrel dessert bar with towers of cake stands and platters to display your confections on.
Lastly, we are very excited to introduce our newest décor package our Café Light and Crystal Bead package! Bulb lighting strung across the ceremony gazebo lawn creates a perfect romantic setting. Combine that with crystal beads dangling along the pavilion walls, makes the perfect little extra touch without being over the top. Ask about our sweetheart table sets to pair with it.
