The Mixon family has been planting, growing, picking, packing, and shipping the finest citrus grown in Florida since 1939. Just over 10 years ago, Janet & Dean Mixon created an area for visitors to view the gardens with a gazebo and waterfall, not knowing their “overlook” would soon become the #1 Wedding Ceremony Venue in Bradenton, where so many couples have made us a part of their dream wedding day.

AND NOW…

Fast forward to today, that area now includes sprawling garden pathways, a grand pavilion, gazebo, and Koi Pond with a cascading rock waterfall and you have a unique location for a wedding or event! The newest addition to our venue is our Newly remodeled Farmhouse Inn! Located at a private gated entrance on the Mixon Farms property, about 500 feet from the grand pavilion, in the midst of the orange grove, stands a grand 4 bedroom, 3 bath custom home that sleeps 13 guests. We take pride in what we’ve created here and are excited to announce the new name of our venue, now called The Pavilion at Mixon Farms, we are excited to be able to provide today’s bride with more than before, including rentals, coordinating services and décor. With combined experience of our staff in the wedding and event industry of more than 50 years, we make sure every bride and groom are made to feel very special. From the time you arrive on our property, you are made to feel like family when you are with us.
